This Texas DOT and Transportation Research Board (TRB) sponsored conference is expected to draw over 400 engineers, planners, researchers and practitioners, from public and private sectors and academia, from across the country and abroad.  The conference is being hosted by the Texas Department of Transportation in combination with the 2012 Transportaion Planning Conference.. 

Your sponsorship will help to keep registration costs for this and future conferences at a reasonable level.  Additionally, it will help to support the TRB’s Access Management Committee’s goal of advancing the state-of-the-art practice in access management and its integration into established planning, policy and design processes.  Access management principles have a core relationship to highway safety, system sustainability and mobility.

Student Poster Competition Sponsorship

A select number of college students from a variety of disciplines including transportation and civil engineering, urban planning, and public administration will present posters on access management related topics at the conference.  The winner of the poster competition will receive a monetary award of $500 and a best poster presentation certificate.  
The sponsors of the student poster competition will receive:

1. The award named after the sponsor
2. Acknowledgement at the award ceremony
3. Acknowledgement on the conference website
4. The sponsor’s name and logo included on a poster or banner at the conference
