The conference program is being developed to meet your professional needs through the dissemination of the latest information by noted professionals in the transportation field. This Texas DOT and Transportation Research Board (TRB) sponsored conference is expected to draw over 400 engineers, planners, researchers and practitioners, from public and private sectors and academia, from across the country and abroad.  The conference is being hosted by the Texas Department of Transportation in combination with the 2012 Transportaion Planning Conference.. 

Your sponsorship will help to keep registration costs for this and future conferences at a reasonable level.  Additionally, it will help to support the TRB’s Access Management Committee’s goal of advancing the state-of-the-art practice in access management and its integration into established planning, policy and design processes.  Access management principles have a core relationship to highway safety, system sustainability and mobility.

Multiple corporate and local sponsorship opportunities include tiered sponsorship packages, student poster competition sponsorship, as well as specialized sponsorship packages upon request.  The tiered corporate packages include Platinum, Gold, and Silver sponsorships, which are described below.

Platinum Sponsorships

   

2 free registrations to the conference, including the offsite events

  1. A ½ page size advertisement included in the conference program
  2. Acknowledgement of the Platinum sponsorship at conference in program and on banner
  3. Acknowledgement of the sponsorship on the Committee’s website dedicated to the 8th National Conference on Access Management that includes:
    1. Selected text provided by the sponsor, such as an organizational description
    2. A link to the sponsor’s website
    3. A logo or graphic of the sponsor’s choosing

Sponsorship Amount: $1500

Gold Sponsorships

   
 
  1. 1 free registration to the conference, including the offsite events
  2. A ¼ page size advertisement included in the conference program
  3. Acknowledgement of the Gold sponsorship at conference in program and on banner

Student Poster Competition Sponsorship

A select number of college students from a variety of disciplines including transportation and civil engineering, urban planning, and public administration will present posters on access management related topics at the conference.  The winner of the poster competition will receive a monetary award of $500 and a best poster presentation certificate.  
The sponsors of the student poster competition will receive:

  1. The award named after the sponsor
  2. Acknowledgement at the award ceremony
  3. Acknowledgement on the conference website
  4. The sponsor’s name and logo included on a poster or banner at the conference

Sponsorship Amount: $1000

Breaks, Meals and Event Sponsorship Opportunities

Throughout the conference, multiple opportunities are available to sponsor breaks, meals, and offsite events.  These sponsorship opportunities allow potential sponsors to develop a package tailored to meet their needs and price points.

Park City, Utah  August 13-16, 2006

The seventh biennial conference on Access Management was held in Park City, Utah from Sunday 13th to Wednesday 16th August 2006. The conferencebrought together engineers, planners, consultants, land developers and academia from across all fields of highway design, traffic engineering and planning.The conference served as the summer meeting for the TRB Committee on Access Management (ADA70), Committee on Geometric Design (AFB10), and Committee on Operational Effects of Geometrics (AHB65).
